South Lyon East High School is located on the east side of South Lyon, Michigan, just west of Wixom and Novi. The mission of South Lyon East High School and the school district itself is to provide a high-quality education structured in a way that all students can excel as individuals and become productive and contributing members of society. The growing population of South Lyon helped bring this new school to fruition and was opened in 2007. With many great academic programs as well as other programs centered on band, choir, art, world language and technology, South Lyon East was recently designated as a "Michigan Reward School" based on its student performance.
